So, what currently-released/upcoming video games do you like/are looking forward to?

Personally, I can't wait for SCII. I want to play with all the Terrans' new toys. Transforming mechs, giant walkers and sniping Ghosts are gonna be fun. Laughing

Let's see...favourite video games...

My very first pokemon was Pokemon Ruby
Pokemon Sapphire
Pokemon Emerald
Pokemon Blue
Pokemon Diamond
(mom has Pearl)
Pokemon Pinball
Pokemon Trozei
that's all of my pokemon games...though it's not all my pokemon stuff

Lego Star Wars I and II
Baldur's Gate (though I don't have 2...I'd really like it. I like playing as the dwarf ^.^ 'hobblegobble!')
Kingdom Hearts I, II, and Chain of Memories

The games I like watching mom play:
Neopets: The Darkest Faerie
Spyro (I bought her every single Spyro.)
Psychonauts (highly recommended)

Soul Reaver II, Legacy of Kain: Defiance.

Halo 3 and Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion were pretty fun.

I've had my eye on Assassin's Creed for a while now. I watch the previews and start drooling, the graphics are gorgeous! The stealthy gameplay is just the sort of thing I like too. I dropped a hint to my mom yesterday, so maybe it'll end up under the christmas tree. *crosses fingers*

I'm getting Assassin's Creed as soon as I get my paycheck, which should be today.

I rented Assassin's Creed, and I ended up glad that I didn't buy it. It's a great game, but unless you're a completionist who likes trying to find all the collectible items and getting 100% on everything it probably won't last you too long, and in my opinion it's too repetitive for a second play through.

Also, I'm suprised nobody's said Mass Effect. If I can scrape together enough money I think I'm going to buy that today.

Must. Get. Spore.

I'm probably going to run out and buy a game today. I'll probably snatch up the Orange Box.

I'm looking forward to the PC-port of Assassin's Creed, Spore, Starcraft II, and Dawn of War: Soulstorm.

I wish at least a couple of them would be out for the holidays, instead of, like, Spring. Oh well.

Looking forward to Spore, and Asassin's Creed on the PC. And kinda with Soulstorm.

As for old favourites:
Baldur's Gate I + II + Expansions (Though now I feel spoiled by CRPGs...So Planescape's sitting in the queue for it's first playthrough)
Project IGI for when I'm in a realistic soldiery mood
Serious Sam for stress busting.

Though there's many more I'll likely add over the next few days...

So when I actually get around to doing something besides mooching off my friend up the street I'll get all these games: Assassin's Creed, Oblivion, Mass Effect, also Bioshock, the Orange Box, and of course, Spore. Wink

Favourite games..... errrrr, Mechwarrior ?

Also Mechcommander and NWN.

Not really looking forward to much, kinda chilled out on the whole game thing.

Same...I have too many games that I haven't yet finished...

And there's also the fact that I normally only buy the games that are old enough to actually able to be bought at a reasonable price. So OMGNEW games are kinda out of my range. =P

Games I like...

Transport Tycoon
Civ II: ToT
Spellforce: Order of Dawn
Might and Magic VII - IX
Heroes of Might and Magic III
Dungeon Keeper II
Anarchy Online

And many more that I can't remember at this moment in time.

The only Spyro I didn't like was the one with Gary Oldman (yes, I know he plays a small part, but I love him...)

It was just like...watching a movie. Sorta like Xenosaga. There's more movie than game.

I only own a few games, but they're all ones I really like. My top five are:

Spellforce: The Order of Dawn + Breath of Winter expansion
Titan Quest
Diablo II
Galactic Civilisations II: Dread Lords
Half-life 2.

I plan to get Orange Box for Christmas too. Mainly for Portal.

It has two - the second is Shadow of the Phoenix. The Breath of Winter campaign is the best of the three, in my opinion. Shadow of the Phoenix was a bit of a letdown, but it's probably still worth getting.

Oooh, Spyro, that brings back endless memories of Rypto's Rage... I should go back and re-play that, that was a fun game. I think the gamecube version sucked though... I don't remember a whole lot of that one, at least.

Anybody else looking forward to Age of Conan and/or Warhammer Online? I've been kind of looking for another MMORPG to get into after quitting WoW a while back.

The gamecube one did suck...It was terrible, in every respect, even the voices used sounded...dodgy.

Okay, so I'm going to go buy a game in a short amount of time (360).

What should I get- Orange Box, Assassin's Creed, Bioshock or something else altogether?
