Stargate has no business being animated. At all. Bottom line. End of story.

I'm watching L&O, and this kid (about 18) asked the older cop "what are you, my parents?"  the cop leans in and whispers "listen, if you don't start acting right I'm going to take you over my knee and spank you, in front of all your friends"

The kid straightened up.  I think it's funny when older adults can still scare college kids.

Blarg!  My lappy has up and died on me.  Mad  It loads all the way to my desktop, then freezes.  The mouse still moves around, but nothing else works.  I ran a disk scan but that came back clean, so now I am trying a system restore, which could take all night, and possibly not even work.  Till then, I have to steall time on my mother' computer until my broither gets around to fixing his(He booby trapped it so opening Mozilla causes it to restart and shut down endlessly, the little turd).

So, If my posting is sparse to non-existant later, you know why.  Course, the biggest suck about all this is the fact that all my papers were on that computer, which means a lot of retyping later if worse comes to worse, as it most commonly does.

It was called Stargate: Infinity, as I recall...?

Why would they make an animated series of it? It's a series all on its own plus two movies and another series.

As I recall, Stargate Inifinity was set in the distant future....

Yes, it's like that.

Ick.

Meanwhile, I'm sure hoping that Stargate Universe doesn't turn into Stargate Voyager, which I have to say it seems to have every potential of doing...

Yes, the distant future.  The series should have been called Sliders, the Stargate years.  Cause that is exactly what it was like.  The team would randomly dial gate address in hopes of finding their way back to Earth.  Of course, the series came before it was revealed that ancients looked human.  So the ancient on the team was a snake/dragon lady thing.

Here, take a look at the opening theme.  Yes...  The opening basically wraps up everything you would need to know about the show.

So far...I like it better than the rest of the Stargate stuff.  But then, I'm not a fan of Stargate at all...

Cindy Lou had babies last night.  She's one of our bed piggies.  (We were going to take her to the vet to have a c-section since any guinea pig that doesn't get pregnant before 6 months old has their bones fuse and is unable to have babies without dying.  Luckily, Cindy Lou was a very rare exception. [We didn't realize she was that far along, otherwise we would have taken her to the vet yesterday.])

One of them has a backwards question mark on her face.  (My dad thinks it looks normal, but he has dyslexia.)  If it was a boy, Dad was going to name her Riddler.  But she's a girl, and he couldn't think of a girlie name.  So I commented 'how about you use his non-villain name?  E. Nygma.'  So now that one's name is Enigma.  We still need to think of a name for the other.

We've decided to name the second baby Carrey for two reasons.

1.) Jim Carrey played the best Riddler.  (At least in my opinion.)
2.) Jim Carrey played opposite of Cindy Lou Who as the Grinch.  (Whom we named the babies' mother after.)

Crystal and Frosty (for those who don't know, the Frosty the Snowman from the old movies' wife was named Crystal) are about to have babies, so I had Crystal out to chat with.  And I just found something out: she's a sadist.

To clarify for those confused, sadism is enjoying the pain of others.  Masochism is enjoying pain inflicted on yourself.

She tugged on my hair as hard as possible and as soon as I said 'ow' she began purring.  When I told Mom she was a sadist, she purred again, as though saying 'yep, I am ^.^'

We've got a pair of dogs that are over 120 lb each.  And yet, the one you need to be scared of is the one that's 30 lb.

Nibbler's our guard rabbit.

Tubby's our guard piggie (he's the pig in my sig).  He keeps the bed pigs safe from other animals. (Not that he has to.)

Nickelodeon is doing something super awesome, but something that will probably fail miserably.  They are doing a "get out and play" day where they show nothing on all of their channels and tell people to go outside and play.  Unfortunately, unless they can get all channels, the ISPs, and online games on handheld items to agree to doing so as well, they'll not be able to change kids at all.

Like I said, at least Nickelodeon is trying.

On a sadder note, the very awesome Paul Newman has died of cancer.  He did a lot of food stuff, and got his daughter to take over--cuz he's been fighting for a while and knew he'd need someone to take over. I think half of his profits for that went to charity.  One of the people that began a charity before they had problems of their own.
