Heggle gives Damian a hard poke.

"Bloody," he says, wiping off his finger.  "But alive."   He helps Damian to his feet, the heads over to recover his rapier.

Owww... Please don't add insult to injury, or saving my life or no, I will make you crispy and serve you to a hobo.

He is still on the floor. Don't poke the wounded.

Damian converts another Bull's Strengh into a Cure Moderate Wounds for himself.

Regak nods and turns his attention to Elias. Or, more specifically, whatever might be left of him.

"What are we to do for him, then? Burial? And what of his things..."

He doesn't say it, but he feels that it would be foolish to leave Elias' belongings with the body. They can be sold, if not used for other things. Regak heads towards the corpse, kicking one of the duergar out of his way as he goes. He kneels down beside the fallen rogue.

"Sleep well, then." he says.

Rasphiak, completely uncaring about Elias's state (they didn't quite get along, after all), swiftly activates his magical sight and takes the enchanted dagger, the silk rope, grappling hook and an equal share of the coins. He sorts out the various other items, taking everything from Elias and putting it into a pile.
Quite literally everything. Then, without further ado, he goes to kick Elias's corpse into the harbor. He didn't need any food- there wasn't going to be something large enough to eat Elias in the city, so might as well dump it into the water for the fish. To him, it was practical, though to the others it might look contemptuous.

(Dividing gold alone, that is 387 gold pieces each, leaving one gold, eight silver, and seven copper.)

Damian sits and decides to search the nearby duergar corpses. Mainly his player is interested in those potions.

Then, a splash sound, the archivist turns around and brings his hand up to rub his eyes.

You know we could try to get him revived don't you?

Everything is stripped off and the bodies disposed of.  You have the mushrooms that Es Sarch wanted.

As you look up and down the stone dock, the only thing that stands out is the stone shack at the other end.  It has one small window.

Damian (damage: 9, from isle and damage: 8)
Regak (damage: 11, from isle)
Rasphiak (damage: 4, from isle)
Heggle (damage: 4, from isle)

Heggle grins at Damian.  "Had to make sure.   Only the living complain."

Being Small, he can't make use of most of Elias' equipment, and he already has a handy haversack (but someone else should grab that one...them's handy!).   Heggle will, however, happily take his share of Elias' money and two of the Duergars' potions of cure moderate wounds and one of water  breathing.

((Damian is the only one who doesn't have a Handy Haversack already. Go for it Damian!))

Rasphiak's feral green eyes just stare at Damian for a long time before he replies in a guttural, inhuman sounding voice.
"He's dead flesh and meat. As food for the wave's children he'll serve more purpose than he ever served in life."
Obviously Rasphiak didn't have a high opinion for Elias- or he just was really, really fond of things that lived in the ocean. The former seems more likely, though there's something up with that nature oriented behavior too.
Seeing no one else is interested- or indeed wants- some of the more mundane items, Rasphiak adds to his looting by taking the flask, flint and steel, bedroll, belt pouch, and the masterwork thieve's tools.

Regak shakes his head.

"He was a companion, Ras. Though maybe the water's what's best for him... s'not like we'd be able to give him a proper burial down here. I'd need tools that I don't have to carve through this rock."

He stomps the ground, causing his his body to shake and his belt-pouch to jingle.

He sighs and kneels over the accumulated treasure. First he takes Elias' longsword and straps it around his waist. Then he takes one of each potion and his share of the gold. He steps away from the loot.

"Are we done here? I've had quite about enough of this rat-infested harbor."

*plop* *plop* *fizz* *fizz* go the bodies as they sink into the Sullen Sea.  The remaining four have collected and disbursed all applicable items.  ((Please add them to your sheets)).  The city awaits beyond the stone shack in front of you.

Oh well... Let's remember to make a moment of silence for him when we have a chance.

... Ouch my back hurts.

Damian lifts himself and takes the handy haversack. Wee.

In the water, one of the duergar corpses gets a bit more crispy as Damian causes a fiery burst around it. Yumm... The fish will feast.

Seeing as the other party members have had their fair chance. Rasphiak takes the remainder of the loot, figuring he can get rid of most of it in the city fairly quick, if at a lower price. Still, better a lower price than leaving it at the docks to rot. He makes a bundle out of the suits of armor, swords, and the dagger, then places as much as he can in his pack, glad it is magical.
He might need to buy some other storage device soon.
He hefts his pack and the large amount of loot that the others seemed ready to leave behind, then glances at the building.
"Perhaps we should check inside there before moving on..."

Regak nods his approval.

"Aye, I think that would be wise."

He turns to face the shack.

"There may be supplies in there that we can make use of."

Anyone trying to get into the shack must make a search check to find a door...

Heggle walks around the shack muttering to himself.  What sort of dolt makes a building with no way in?

Rasphiak watches as Heggle searches, keeping a bit back as if to look at a larger picture in case he can notice anything the bard is missing.

Regak makes his way to the stone shack, nods to Heggle and begins to run his hands over the surface. He closes his eyes and concentrates on what he feels through his gloves, noting every flaw in the stonework, every shift in its texture, anything and everything unusual about the stone the shack is made of. He centers his search-area at about Dwarf-height, and even searches the stone flooring around the shack. When he's covered as much stone as he can reach, he opens his eyes and looks back at the group.

"I found the door," he says, and points right at it.

Regak has found one door and the mechanism to open it.  Dim light shines into through the doorway.  No one jumps out and nothing happens to Regak.  The rest of the underground city seems to be ignoring them for the moment.

There's a door on the south side.

Regak pulls the door fully open and peers inside, trusting his Darkvision to show him the interior.

"Right, then. There's that taken care of. Let's take a look inside, shall we?"

((Is the shack large enough to accommodate the entire group?))

When Regak pulls the door open, he finds a lot of dust and a chest in one corner.

The shack is 20 ft x 20 ft.

Rasphiak swiftly moves inside after Regak, takes in the chest, then approaches it cautiously to open it.

Regak looks in after Rasphiak.

"Watch yourself, Ras. You've seen how tricky Duergar can be; be mindful of traps."

He keeps a hand wrapped around the grip of his weapon, ready in the case of danger.

The chest has a good solid lock on it.  Either roll an Open Lock check, smash the chest open with something blunt, or some other method.

For now, the dock area remains silent.
