I'll start off by saying this is NOT Urban Arcana, just so no one gets confused. It will be taking place in a medieval style city and it's various locales. Katonta will be acting as co-DM on this game and right now I just want to gauge interest and if you want to get started on character building It will be a 32 point buy, level three. Now, all I really have access to is basic things, not that I would suggest doing anything too strange anyways. If you're a half-dragon, people will stare at you. Demonic blood? Expect for the local church to try and run you out of town. I won't stop you from playing them, but Town this is not. If you've got any questions, feel free to ask either Kato or I.

*Changes gadge to gauge*

I'll join.  I'm really bored lately.  Is a ninja alright?  I like trying out odd classes.

Adventurer.  First class listed.  I can send you specs if you don't have it, or, as blackout has proven, you can find them yourself online.

Mind if I just PM you the specs?  Ninjas keep coming up with Variants and other settings.

You've got me Art.

You'll be getting one of my gestalt psion abominations.  He'll be able to go melee or ranged at the drop of a hat with a few utility powers thrown in.

Because at some point I plan on going, "We aren't the adventurers you're looking for." *ka-jedi*

Art, if you recall that level 1 character I made for blackout to DM randomly (dual wields maces?).

Well, I'll be using that, and beefing him up to level 3.

I don't think that word means what you think it does.

Thou hast been counter-quoted.

"I am not left handed!"

*Sword fight resumes*

"I'm not left handed either."

Who said they were level one?

*Totally doesn't pop the Princess Bride into the DVD player >.>*

Ninja looks fine, BB. Go for it.

And boys, this is going to be a fairly realistic game. If you're going to make a lot of collateral damage and crush peoples' heads in, you will be paying for it.

Decided to go a bit more subtle than blowing things up with an arm cannon.

I give you Rolo Goldlock the kobold urban scout/ranger!

Silver dragon wrought kobold.  The egg was pinched by a deep halfling that happened to think it would be interesting to try to raise one of the buggers.  You know, see if they're nasty and mean naturally or by instruction.

Which of course means that said halfling was involved in the destruction of the clan Rolo was born into >.>

Hmmm, a city-based campaign.  Interesting.  If I send you the crunch for the Urban Ranger variant, would you consider it?

Hmm. I could be very tempted to join this, I'm starving for more PbP games. I'm thinking possibly a beguiler (players handbook 2) or something. A kenku beguiler, perhaps.

Do you have the Cityscape book?

Edit: Or simply a wizard. Enchanter or illusionist, likely. I'll have to think about it.

I have cityscape! Also, I want in. Hrm, what type of character...

maybe a rogue of some sort. I like my skill points. I am playing a rogue in that other game though... hrm, what about a paladin? I'll probably use this nifty variant from Dungeonscape, but I can PM the specifics on that easy enough...

I already got an urban ranger/scout person OK'ed, so I would imagine that it wouldn't be a problem.

<.<

We seem to be getting an inordinate amount of skill monkies.

Ended up with Necromancer.

Meet Tara the Scarecrow.

I've taken one feat from Complete Mage and the Kenku race is from Monster Manual 3, but I've provided full documentation of both, look under "Special Ability Summary" and "References"

Hope it's ok.

Urban Ranger is fine, Helgraf, I can look that up easily enough on the SRD.

And our first two characters are decidedly not the normal PC races. This should be very interesting. I wonder if we'll ever see the nicer side of town at this rate.

Lots of interest too, I'm not sure where the cut off will be just yet, but the first to get their sheets up will be more likely to have  slot.

Hey!  My little lizard has got plenty of ranks in disguise to help with his problem.  He should be able to get around bouncers and city guards easily enough.

For all anyone knows he's just a short halfling.
