Favorite Music (including MV's)

What's your favorite song?  And do you have a favorite Music Video?

This music video for Avril Lavigne's Keep Holding On is my favorite  Easily.

I'm a fan of Holst's Planets, especially Jupiter.
I also like Zadok the Priest

Slightly more recently, Rhapsody in Blue is probably me current favourite track.

Of course, not many of these have videos, but it's still music. ^_^

I like some Elton john stuff.

I think I've said it before, but anything by Cradle of Filth counts as my favourite. Never made anything I didn't like... except perhaps for their latest album. Not their best result, but then, I like the fact that they're willing to experiment with styles, even when such experiments don't turn out so well. That's what keeps them fresh and interesting to me.

Gah. Favourite songs? You cruel cruel person Bookboy.

Yeah, it depends on my mood at the time which piece is my favourite. Currently, I'd say Cygnus-X and Afterglow are my favourites. Although I'm kinda in a Genesis/Rush mood. More Rush, actually, so I'd say Cygnus. Merely because Cygnus is the song I'm listening to at this moment in time. =P

No, I can't choose one definite favourite. They all are cool in their own ways.

Edit: And crap, I'm editing more in. *spoilers*

Expect long list from me here in....well...when I feel like it ^-^

Every time I hear this, I think of our soldiers:

Bring Him Home -- Les Mis -- sung by Colm Wilkinson

I can't believe I forgot Distant Early Warning, by Rush, on my list...

Awesome song.

The world weighs on my shoulders
But what am I to do?
You sometimes drive me crazy
But I worry about you
I know it makes no difference
To what you're going through
But I've seen the tip of the iceberg
And I worry about you...
Destro Yersul

Lessee... Umm...

Weird Al, Most Country music, Dream Evil, Dragonforce, some classical, particularly Beethoven, The Halo soundtrack, that epic ending song from Mass Effect, trout, Breaking the Habit, by Linkin Park, trout, trout, various songs from James Bond and Star Wars, Ballroom Blitz, Don't Stop Me Now, Don't Fear the Reaper, and trout.

Ignore the trout, I don't know how those got there. *shifty eyes*

My favorite song recently:
You Are the Moon by The Hush Sound
List to come when I can get it done...

The Tragically Hip and Kaizers Orchestra!!!!!

Anything from either of those two bands. I mean, how can you beat true Canadian rock (TTH) and the only world famous band to sing in Norsk (KO).  My favorite songs would have to be Blow at High Dough and Christiania, respectivly by band and favoriteism.

Music@Work is the best Hip CD, while Ompa Til Du Dor is the best CD by Kaizers.

Just to make sure my point is across, yes, I am a little fanatic about those two.

This is the saddeest song I've ever heard.

I really can't make a list of favorite songs, because I never end up happy with it. So I've got a list of favorite bands, that while I think it should be bigger (50? 100?) is somewhat adequate.

1: The Beatles (Duh)
2: Kiss
3: Guns N' Roses
4: David Bowie
5: The Rolling Stones
6: Iron Maiden
7: Aerosmith
8: Oasis
9: U2
10: Nirvana
11: Ali's .45
12: The Who
13: Blue Oyster Cult
14: Jimi Hendrix
15: 4-way tie between Boston, The Doors, Queen, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers

I have way too many favorite songs... but here is one I'm listening to right now: Jeremy Camp - "Let It Fade"
I was going to link to a youtube of it but youtube is not working on my computer right now. Maybe it's the site, maybe it's my computer, it's mildly annoying. Here's the lyrics:

Have you been walking on a surface that's uncertain?
Have you helped yourself to everything that's empty?
You can't live this way too long.
There's more than this, more than this.
Have you been standing on your own feet too long?
Have you been looking for a place where you belong?
You can rest, you will find rest.
You can rest, you will find rest.

Let this old life crumble, let it fade.
Let this new life offered be your saving grace.
Let this old life crumble, let it fade, let it fade.

Have you been holding on to what this world has offered?
Have you been giving in to all these masquerades?
It will be gone, forever gone.
It will be gone, it will be gone

Let this old life crumble, let it fade.
Let this new life offered be your saving grace.
Let this old life crumble, let it fade, let it fade.

Let it fade.

Are you carrying the weight too much?, are you running from the call?
Let it fade, Oh yeah.

You can rest, you will find rest.
You can rest you will find rest.

Let this old life crumble, let it fade.
Let this new life offered be your saving grace.
Let this old life crumble, let it fade, let it fade.

Let this old life crumble, let it fade.
Have you been standing on your own feet too long?
Have you been looking for a place where you belong?
