Who

Brotherhood of the Golden Feather

A tiny, obscure, and rather eccentric order of maguses, scribes and archivists. They work unseeingly to obtain a copy of every piece of written lore in the world.

----

Caelum'll walk in to a small closed off room, where she'll find the griffin motif still holding strong with small statues and bookends dotted about the place.

The only other occupant of the room would appear to be a rather unassuming chap sporting a small pair of glasses and a mace at his side, he seems rather unworried by their surprise visitor.

"And you are?"
Cynical Circle

Carrying one of your friends in my pocket.

She holds her jacket open and points to the pocket with the wonky kitty.
Hyperspace pocket, of course.
Who

The cat glares at her with its mismatched eyes

"You weren't supposed to tell them!"

"Adro? Is that you?"

He bursts out laughing.
Cynical Circle

I wasn't?
Oh. Sorry about that. Äther always did say I was the less-attentive half...
Who

The fellow with the mace, wipes a tear from his eye and manages to stifle his laughter.

"So what happened?"
Cynical Circle

I got him back into the place he tried to get into before, killed stuff while he grabbed scrolls, and then we ran like heck.
Who

"That sounds about right, he never was able to comprehend liberating the lore quietly, still we best start looking for a solution. Follow me."

With that he turns and heads through another door, heading deeper in to the building.
Cynical Circle

She follows, smiling vaguely.
Who

The fellow tries to strike up a conversation as they descend down some griffin themed steps.

"So how did he enlist your help?"
Cynical Circle

We met by chance and I had nothing else to do.
Who

"I see...well that's certainly novel I guess."
Cynical Circle

She shrugs.
I suppose so.
Who

He turns through another griffin themed door in to a room jammed with poorly organised scrolls.

"Well, if we possess a scroll that can fix him it's in here somewhere."
Cynical Circle

She looks around in vague interest.
Who

It's just wall to wall scrolls jammed in to fill as much as possible.

"Now I'm afraid I can't find any transformative scrolls, however..."
Cynical Circle

Huh... 's a bit messy...
Who

"He says there's a system, normally he can find it."

"As I was saying, whilst I haven't been able to find a scroll I may have a map to lead you to someone who can."
Cynical Circle

Well, that sounds good and stuff.
Who

"Well it's not as good as you'd think, it would seem the scroll you require was amongst a number taken when a member of ours went renegade."
Cynical Circle

Oh... not yay then.
Who

"Indeed, however this may be a golden opportunity to recover what he stole."
Cynical Circle

I suppose that's good then.
She shrugs.
Who

"Exactly. Ah here it is."

He pulls a three scrolls off a shelf and holds them out to her.

"Be careful with these, one's a map and the other two are teleportation scrolls. They'll get you there and back.
Cynical Circle

She takes them, nodding.
Who

"Well then you can show yourself out. Best of luck."

Not very helpful is he?
Cynical Circle

She shrugs and heads out.
Who

With a badly stitched cat still her in her pocket. What a novel experience.

"My apologies for getting you caught up in all this."
Cynical Circle

It's alright. I'm rather thankful, actually, because you've given me some way to occupy my time.
Who

"Well you know what they say about idle hands. So what does the map look like?"
Cynical Circle

She unrolls it and tells what she sees.
Who

Which means I should probably describe it shouldn't I? The map shows a long series of tunnels all leading to a blank part of the map. A few parts have been marked elsewhere include such gems as 'Pede Nest, Deep Water and Here be Shoggoths.

"Well this isn't exactly promising."
Cynical Circle

She frowns at the unpleasant looking things. THINGS!
Who

"Well there's no point in prolonging this, if you'd be so kind as to read the scroll we can get moving."
Cynical Circle

She reads it to him, describing bits that need description.
Who

"Thank you that was most informative, but I was referring to one of the teleport scrolls."
Cynical Circle

... Oh.
She reads a tellyport scroll.
Who

And off they go! BAMF!

A new thread will be forthcoming, blimey this is the most threads I've made in ages.
