Beyond the Stars

You know I was so tempted to just call this thread SPACE!!!, but then I decided to be mature.

------

Anyway there's at least three ships outside of the Town's atmosphere but I'm not quite sure.
WoF Lone Wolf

6 ship in the fleet actually. As the Trinity approaches the fleet its soon apparent to the group that ship they are in is one of the smaller ships in the fleet, some of the ships being massive in size. Lone terns to Joff and asks. Where are we going and how do you want to get there.
Who

"Ah well, you see I'm not quite sure. I have a small divination that might help locate whatever it is we're looking for but I have no idea how it will be effected by this environment."
WoF Lone Wolf

Well all we can do is see if it is or not. Though what may be wrong with this environment?
Keledrath

Some magic is unreliable without access to the natural magic of the planet.
As Shade speaks, its form becomes that of Baroness Fireheart, finally becoming solid and colored.
The issue could be different from that, but that is one form I have encountered.
Who

"The most I can do is try. Have you got somewhere I can find water?"
WoF Lone Wolf

There should be water in the cargo hold. The Wolves Wrath and Vengeance also carry large water reserves if needed.
Who

"Excellent, could you direct me to the cargo hold?"
WoF Lone Wolf

Right this way. Lone gets up and starts off for the ships hold.
Who

He follows, fishing a bowl and a few small vials from his bag as he does.
WoF Lone Wolf

Reaching the end of a corridor Lone opens a hatch into the ships hold and shows Joff where he can get water near one wall.
Who

He fills the bowl with water, placing it on the ground and sitting in front of it before emptying the vials in to it and observing the pattern they form.

"Hmm...well  as near as I can tell what we're looking for is a days travel to the east. It's normally clearer than this."
Keledrath

The Baroness follows them, and chuckles at Joff's comment.
That might be because there is no east here. Space works differently from the surface.
WoF Lone Wolf

How very true. Lone uses a consul to project a small holo compass thats alined with the systems spacial plain. Joff just point in the direction we need to go and I'll get us under way.
Who

After a moment of looking between the compass and his bowl he eventually works out where he wants to go and points off in to the distance.

"That way"
WoF Lone Wolf

Lone works the controls and pointer appears in the compass and alines with the direction Joff wants to go. After a few more moments Lone looks up. Ok the fleet has out heading and is ready to move. Would you rather make the trip here in the yacht or on one of the other ships?
Who

"What ever you think would be better for encountering something we have no foreknowledge of."
WoF Lone Wolf

The entire fleet is on the move heading for our destination. Whatever ship we are in will simply be the lead ship. If you think the creature we seek will be neutral or friendly we will be fine here. If you think it will be aggressive and attack us I would suggest one of the larger ships.
The Bushranger

((Oh, right, I'm here too. Eep, sorry!))

Amist happens to be here, leaning against the side of the hull and listening intently.
Who

"Perhaps one of the larger ships would be appropriate. We are venturing in to the unknown after all."
WoF Lone Wolf

Lets head back to the bridge and see about getting to another ship. My command ship the Vengeance and the the Wolves Wrath are the biggest ships in the fleet.

welcome back BR
Who

"Very well then, lead the way."
Keledrath

Chaps, it seems I am-
The Baroness winces in pain.
Being summoned elsewhere. Have fun!
With a cry of pain, the Baroness simply fades away into nothing.
WoF Lone Wolf

Lone looks to where the baroness was. That was....unexpected. Well this way to the bridge. With that Lone leads the way back to the bridge.
Who

And Joff follows, shaking his head and muttering something about shapeshifters.
WoF Lone Wolf

Lone leads Joff back to the bridge checking screens as he passes them before pointing out 2 ships on out of the bridge view ports. Lone points to the right. Thats the Vengeance My command ship, heavily shielded and armed to the teeth and thick armor. And over there is the Wolves Wrath. Lone points to the left. Heavily armed and armored but no shield, It has more armor and firepower however. Also being it houses heavy machine shops and the like.... no gravity. Lone looks around for Amist with a predators grin. Except when she is under thrust as she is now, turning gravity along the ships length and making the nose the "top" of the ship.
