Okay, terrible pun in the title not off to a great start but bear with me. I got bored and started to cobble together some Magic cards based on the wonderful insanity we've got going on here, they've got no pictures because I can't draw and I didn't want to go nicking anyone else's work but ruleswise they're solid. If anyone doesn't want me using their characters just tell me and I'll get rid of them.

Spoiler:

Everyone's favourite swarm, starts off pretty fragile but if she lasts a turn she can be quite the beatstick plus you know repeatable removal is always nice. Used to be any permanent but then she could just nuke a land every turn for free and that was just unfair.

Spoiler:

Looks fragile but is incredibly hard to kill and can kill pretty much anything indirectly thanks to amazing tool box potential. Is also super adorable.

Spoiler:

The first pair that aren't my characters, I think I got the typing right could be wrong. Anywho two horrendously broken red aggro creatures you get both of them out by turn three and that's pretty much game. I should probably up the cost a little bit, maybe the toughness too.

Spoiler:

Incredible wordy but versatile little beater he was going to have a keyword ability too but then I would have been smushed to even smaller text so I had to do without, even his type line is cramped.

Spoiler:

Nice and simple late game red creature. Not alot to say it's basically Akroma but suckier, the templating might be a little off.

Spoiler:

First planeswalker! Not really many characters who'd call for that but this one seems about right. If the coin flip goes your way card advantage if not well you still get a loyalty counter.

Spoiler:

[spoiler]

First thing that isn't a creature, it didn't seem right making this a land so I invented location. As it stands it needs some kinks working out of it but the basic idea is sound.

[spoiler]

And herin lies the problem with location, stuff like this can whip it out many many turns early, I guess if I amped the ability cost maybe it could work as is....holy hell it's almost like I have a design process or something. Anyway that's all I got for now let the hate begin!

Metakirb made me laugh.  Very accurate.  Also, neat take on John.

Glad you like him, shame I couldn't fit everything on though...maybe if I made it full art...nah. Ah well nevermind. Anyway made some more also tweaked Elyea and fixed Meta's templating.

Spoiler:

Had to do this one, not sure which is best, either way once it gets big you better watch out. One just happens to get big on its own.

Spoiler:

Took a while to work this one out but I'm quite happy with it. She just needs something she can steal, Quinn's on the way though. Could make a good EDH general if only there were some of those shadow spells knocking around....

Spoiler:

Hey what are these? So that's what shadow spells are...Shadow Disintegrate was always going to be conditional removal but I'm not really sure about the condition it was either that or cards in graveyard. Shame I could only think of two really, what else does Mel do?

(("Ah, but that would be telling, wouldn't it?" Wink ))

Sigh, sorry about that. Anyway, what program are you using to produce those? And a very nice job on the two shadow cards. Me likey.

Very Happy  That sound you can hear? It's my ego swelling, I locked it in the basement but I don't know how long it'll hold. Anyway, the program is Magic Set Editor, unfortunately it hasn't updated in a while. Oh and I've tweaked Mel's wording, she's slightly stronger now and I fixed the inherent problem with Locations and made Trog's legendary.

Spoiler:

Now that I've fixed locations I thought I'd make a new one, it can get you what ever you want...actually no it can't I've literally just thought while I was typing this. Well it's a good start, version 2'll be here soon.

Spoiler:

As promised Quinn! This was what forced me to changed Mel's wording otherwise she couldn't have stolen Quinn. This wasn't actually the first version of her the original was a lot cleaner rules wise but it just didn't fit from a flavour point of view.

Spoiler:

A very meta entry, but I thought it was necessary. I'm not sure which is better but both are bereft of much needed flavour text. I welcome suggestions people.

Spoiler:

Another one in need of flavour text, just feels a bit empty otherwise. Very simple he's very good at using other stuff to kill people.

Spoiler:

Al, Jaya Ballad style! He can turn any card in your hand in to three almost but not quite versions of other magic cards. Bonus nerd points if anyone can tell me what they are.

Spoiler:

And finally, last but by no means least Kar. That ability of his just kept going up in cost and I'm still not sure, being able to copy legendaries and it being off colour I couldn't make up my mind.

This what may be my last batch as I'm almost completely out of ideas. It's been fun though.

Spoiler:

Omnishop version 2.0 now it really can get you anything you want, seriously anything at all, as long as that thing is a magic card anyway.

Spoiler:

Dei when he was going through his whole floaty evil slug phase, I think flavour wise it's a pretty good fit.

Spoiler:

My absolute crowning achievement using a template that the game has never used before, has a few balance issues but I absolutely love it.

Spoiler:

Another flavour one, this time in reference to Lily's old habit of giving people extra bits. It's literally just a multicoloured Ovinize, which in turn is a blue Humility, which is white...there's something awfully zen about that.

A few more! I swear I will stop but I'm at like 27 and I so want it to be a round number.

Spoiler:

Steve, toolboxes for artifacts, I should probably get rid of the flavour text now, the ability didn't used to be so wordy but I really like it. I thought about trying to do John's other kids but I couldn't think of anything for Alex and I wasn't really sure how BREAKING AURORA'S HEART would translate mechanically. What? Bitter? Me? No, of course not don't be silly. Smile

Spoiler:

Two more shadow cards, Mel probably hasn't done anything like the first one but it's generic enough that it probably doesn't matter and I really liked the splice mechanic. Probably the only good thing to come out of Kamigawa. I'm almost certain the other one's been done, in fact I know it has, nice versatile card.

Spoiler:

First land of the bunch, might be a little overpowered, blimey what is it with all the Mel support here? She's just easy to build around.

Two more cards and a couple of cosmetics changes to Elyea and Mel,just to make them fall in line with standard typing. I'm at 29, one more and I can stop.

Spoiler:

Last Mel card I swear!

Spoiler:

Another location, your guys can hide in it and there's more or less bugger all anyone can do about it.

Okay, I'm going to get in on the action. No idea how to cost these so I estimated. Also no idea how to correctly text to standard typing.

Spoiler:

These two were very schizophrenic in the early years so I had to do them as flip cards. Very powerful in they're alternate form, but short lived.

Spoiler:

Land card with the minion it producers.

Spoiler:

The big Daddy. Very slightly broken.

I can't do any college work cause my account has no more space, but I can help you with your formating!

Spoiler:

Hawkeye  2R/WR/W
Legendary creature - Human Fighter
When Hawkeye enters the battlefield, search your library for a card named Wukei and put it on to the battlefield. Then shuffle your library.
If damage is dealt to Hawkeye or a card named Wukei, flip Hawkeye.
W: Prevent the next one damage that would be dealt to target creature this turn.
1/3
----------
Merant
Legendary Creature - Demon
Double Strike
Merant is Black and Red.
BB: Merant deals 1 damage to target creature. If that creature would be put into a graveyard this turn, exile it instead.
At the begining of the end phase of the turn after this card was flipped, flip Merant.
4/4

Spoiler:

Wukei 2RR
Legendary Creature - Human Pirate
When Wukei enters the battlefield, search your library for a card named Hawkeye and put it on to the battlefield. Then shuffle your library.
If damage is dealt to Wukei or a card named Hawkeye, flip Wukei.
R,T: Wukei deals 1 damage to target creature.
3/2
------
Hel
Legendary Creature - Goddess
Hel is Black
Hel is Indestructible.
2B: Put target creature card from a graveyard onto the battlefield under your control.
2B,T: Destroy target nonartifact, nonblack creature.
At the begining of the end phase of the turn after this card was flipped, flip Hel.
6/6

The flip triggers for their alternate forms is a little in elegant but it's the best I could do. Also you only put mana costs on the side your supposed to play, I'm not sure if you intended for both sides to be castable. If you did, ignore the line they have about what colour they are. Oh and technically Hel's type should be Avatar but I made Jamin and Jonah Goddess just cause it fits better flavour wise, so I did the same here.

Spoiler:

City of Helrreldr
Legendary Land
City of Helrreldr comes in to play tapped.
City of Helrreldr is indestructible.
T: Add BR to your mana pool.
BR, T: Put a 1/1 black and red minion creature token named Warrior of Helrreldr onto the battlefield.

Little bit broken, should probaly only add one colour of mana, something like T: Add B or R to your mana pool.

Spoiler:

Merant Herreldr 6 B/RB/RB/R
Legendary Creature - God
Trample, Deathtouch.
Merant Herreldr gets +5/+5 and is indestructible if you control a card named City of Herreldr.
Other black and red creatures you control get +1/+1.
3BB, T: Exile target creature. This cannot be countered.
5/5

Hella broken, and once again should technically be Avatar.

Cheers for that Smile

I've made most of the changes you suggested (may have to force refresh the page to see them), but due to the text line limits on the flip cards I had to shorten it slightly. I increased the casting cost for Merant Herreldr, but he's still very sickeningly broken. As he should be Wink

Oh, Melantha really should have the ability shadow, or 1T: Melantha gains or loses Shadow. This can only be played on your turn.

Ask and thou shalt receive. Done. Not too keen on it personally, it makes the text even smaller, but hey it's your character. Also it makes one of the shadow cards redundant, which puts me back on 28....damn.

Spoiler:

Myobi 2W
Legendary Creature - Avatar
Defender
Prevent all combat damage that would be dealt to Myobi

The first one was fine, little bare though, could do with some flavour text. Oh and a higher mana cost.

Spoiler:

Inari 3WWW
Legendary Creature - Kitsune God
Defender
Inari is indestructible
2WW: Tap target creature. That creature doesn't untap during it's controllers next untap step.
2/8

Just a few minor wording tweaks this time. Good show.

More of my boredom induced Magic creations. This time inspired by the wonderful middle set of the Time Spiral block, Planar Chaos wherein the multiverse started to collapse and we were given glimpses in to what could have been for various characters in the Magic universe if only things had been different. So without further ado here are some of out very own what ifs?

What if Mel was...shall we just say, more conservative?

Spoiler:

What if Al had founded the Toymaker's carnival?

Spoiler:

What if Quinn was Mel?

Spoiler:
